The Wrekin

Seek the spiritual heart of Shropshire and you'll find the Wrekin. The Wrekin plays an important role in Shropshire folk-lore. To us it represents home, and we love it.

Wenlock Edge

"On Wenlock Edge the wood's in trouble; His forest fleece the Wrekin heaves;" A.E. Housman - A Shropshire Lad

Wenlock Pottery & Craft Centre

Visit a working pottery, open all year round and create a masterpiece in the Ceramic Cafe or browse in beautiful surroundings for that special gift.  Beautiful bed & breakfast accommodation also available.

Wenlock Priory

Wenlock Priory, with it's stunning clipped topiary, has a pastoral setting on the edge of lovely Much Wenlock.

White Ladies Priory

The remains of a late 12th-century church of a small priory of Augustinian canonesses, surrounded by picturesque woodland.

Wroxeter Roman City

Once the fourth largest city in Roman Britain, visitors to Wroxeter today can take a tour around the fascinating ruins, and explore the new Roman Town House, constructed as part of Channel 4’s ‘Rome Wasn’t Built in a Day’.

Accommodation

We offer two spacious, individual rooms. Both overlook a cobbled yard and our traditional country garden. Click here for more details.

Breakfast

Breakfast is served in our elegant dining room. Choose from a cooked or continental style breakfast to suit your individual taste, all using local and seasonal ingredients where possible. We have held an AA Breakfast Award since 2015.

Working Farm

Court Farm is an attractive farm with a variety of crops and animals with plenty of fields, trees and hedgerows supporting an abundance of wildlife.

The Local Area

We are just six miles from the Walkers Are Welcome town of Church Stretton but if you prefer to explore closer to home there are several walks which start at Court Farm and extend out into the surrounding countryside.
