Canoe UK

Open top canoe trips on river with pub stop and steam train return. Also 2 day river adventures. Suitable for all ages and abilities.

Chirk Aqueduct

Chirk Aqueduct and Viaduct is one of the two aqueducts within the World Heritage Site just a few miles downstream from Pontcysyllte. Completed in 1801, Chirk Aqueduct carries the Llangollen branch of the Shropshire Union Canal high above the Ceiriog Valley and offers more beautiful views.

Climbing The Walls

CLIMBING THE WALLS is the perfect place to feel the incredible adrenaline buzz of climbing tall walls, bouldering, action walls and training walls in a controlled, clean, indoor environment in a brand new purpose built Centre which opened in February 2017. Located opposite Tesco at Battlefields, you can choose to use the Park and Ride or arrive by car and park in one of plenty of spaces.

Clun Castle

The dramatic riverside ruins and extensive earthworks of a Welsh Border Norman Castle, its tall keep unusually set on the side of its mound.

Court Farm is an attractive farm with a variety of crops and animals with plenty of fields, trees and hedgerows supporting an abundance of wildlife.

The Local Area

We are just six miles from the Walkers Are Welcome town of Church Stretton but if you prefer to explore closer to home there are several walks which start at Court Farm and extend out into the surrounding countryside.
