We Are Going on a Troll Hunt

We Are Going On A Troll HuntThe Troll Hunt is included FREE of charge* for every paying child visiting The Follies. It is a magical trail throughout the landscape with fun activities along the way and lots of troll hunting to done too....Following the wonderfully illustrated trail booklet you will get to explore the beautiful surroundings of the Follies as well as finding interactive fun along the way. You will love the giant’s chair, have fun climbing towers, making troll food, trip trapping across bridges and enjoying the mystical caves. But be careful! Watch out for Trolls! This children’s trail is the perfect way to add extra magic for the younger adventurers. Don't forget to tell us the magic word before you leave to get your Troll Trail. *One trail booklet per paying child on standard days during 2019. Additional trails can be purchased for £1 each. Trails are subject to availability and will not be running through certain special events.

Garden Party

End the Summer on a high with this community event in our magnificent gardens. Enjoy the very best, quintessentially English garden traditions with live music, picnics, treasure hunts and craft stalls for an afternoon of fun in the sunshine with your friends and family. Entry is £5.00 for adults and children (u12’s) can gain entry for free.

Proms and Prosseco in the Park

Join us at this stunning outdoor setting, amongst the serene lake and ancient trees of Chetwynd Deer Park, for great music, delicious food, free children’s activities and of course, fizz! Bring the children, parents, grandparents, picnic hampers and candelabras for a relaxed afternoon and evening filled with great music. This is a festival of classical and popular music featuring some of the best performers from across the country, supported by incredibly talented local acts, culminating in a Last Night of the Proms style finale. The event is suitable for all ages and under 10’s go free!

The Ginger and Spice Festival

The Ginger and Spice Festival – 25th to 28th September 2019  The award winning Ginger and Spice Festival is making a welcome return this September 2019 for a four day celebration of all things spicy during British Food Fortnight. Set in and around the centre of the medieval Shropshire town, Market Drayton, the festival celebrates the town’s culinary heritage, links to the ancient spice routes and what is thought to be the oldest gingerbread in the country!

Shropshire Oktober Fest

4th & 5th October 2019 - Following the success of the past 2 Oktoberfest we are back! Breakfast is served in our elegant dining room. Choose from a cooked or continental style breakfast to suit your individual taste, all using local and seasonal ingredients where possible. We have held an AA Breakfast Award since 2015.

Working Farm

Court Farm is an attractive farm with a variety of crops and animals with plenty of fields, trees and hedgerows supporting an abundance of wildlife.

The Local Area

We are just six miles from the Walkers Are Welcome town of Church Stretton but if you prefer to explore closer to home there are several walks which start at Court Farm and extend out into the surrounding countryside.
