The Ginger and Spice Festival

The award-winning Ginger and Spice Festival is making a welcome return this September for a celebration of all things spicy during British Food Fortnight. Set in and around the centre of the medieval Shropshire town, Market Drayton, the festival celebrates the local culinary heritage with links to the ancient spice routes and what is thought to be the oldest gingerbread in the country! On Saturday 26th September 2020, enjoy a spicy street market including a food theatre with top chefs, spice trail, children’s food classes, gingerbread baking contest and much more! The Spice Exchange Street Market is free to all! www.gingerandspicefest.co.uk

Breakfast is served in our elegant dining room. Choose from a cooked or continental style breakfast to suit your individual taste, all using local and seasonal ingredients where possible. We have held an AA Breakfast Award since 2015.

Working Farm

Court Farm is an attractive farm with a variety of crops and animals with plenty of fields, trees and hedgerows supporting an abundance of wildlife.

The Local Area

We are just six miles from the Walkers Are Welcome town of Church Stretton but if you prefer to explore closer to home there are several walks which start at Court Farm and extend out into the surrounding countryside.
